Who are we, and what role do we play?

School Councils are an excellent way for you to get involved in your child’s education. Every TDSB school has an elected School Council. Your School Council is an important forum for involving parents/family and community in matters that impact the education of students.

 

In addition to the elected positions, we are also joined by a long list of Class Parents, who volunteer their time to support our teachers and students by acting as communication liaisons between teachers, School Council, and parents.

School Council Meetings

 

School Council Meetings are an interactive session for parents to hear from our Principal and learn of School Council initiatives and events, reconciliation of the budgets, and how to be involved. Meetings are in the evenings, starting at 6:30pm and childcare is provided so that as many parents as possible may be involved. Please add the 2023/2024 Meetings to your calendars.
